Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced C++ Software Engineer to develop Onboard embedded systems. You will focus on vehicle diagnostics and Over-the-Air (OTA) updating mechanisms.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain embedded software for automotive systems using C++.
Design, implement, unit test and debug software modules and components for automotive applications.
Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the overall system design.
Conduct software integration and system testing to ensure software reliability and performance.
Follow agile based software development.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior software engineers.
Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
5 years of experience in automotive diagnostic domain based on on-board diagnostics architectures
Knowledge of C++ development toolchain (e.g. KPIT development toolchain)
Experience of on-board application software development software configuration for Diagnostics Stacks (minimum requirement implementation of UDS on CAN, DoIP, CAN-FD on top of Linux, QNX
Experience of application software development and basic software configuration for Service Oriented architectures (minimum requirement SOME/IP on top of Linux, QNX)
Additional Skills
Practical experience with Vector CANoe for network simulation,
Professional fluency in both English and Italian is a strong plus to help our international teams and local stakeholders work together smoothly
