We require a Testing Engineer to validate vehicle software functions. You will specialize in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation, vehicle diagnostics, and Over-the-Air (OTA) validation.
Responsibilities:
Design, set up, and execute automation test cases on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test benches.
Verify diagnostics communications and fault-handling protocols.
Validate end-to-end functionality of Over-the-Air (OTA) updates.
Create and run complex test configurations, network simulations, and automated test scripts using Vector CANoe.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 3 years in automotive software testing
Core Skills: Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, vehicle Diagnostics, and OTA validation, vector toolchain, Test Automation
Automotive Diagnostics: UDS (ISO 14229), DoIP (Diagnostics over IP), CAN, CAN-FD
OTA (Over-the-Air) Validation: OTA Update Testing and Validation, End-to-End OTA Deployment Verification, Software/Firmware Flashing Validation, Update Rollback and Recovery Testing, Software Version Management, Vehicle Software Integration Testing
Additional Skills
Familiarity with Vector CANoe or similar simulation tools including CAPL scripting, diagnostic console configuration, and residual bus simulation.
Professional fluency in both English and Italian is a strong plus to help our international teams and local stakeholders work together smoothly
